By LAURIE KIRKSBY SAN FRANCISCO — Jacksonville Jaguars coach and general manager Gus Bradley was fired Tuesday after two games, according to the team’s statement.
Bradley’s contract expired Wednesday and the team had until Thursday to make a decision on his future.
The Jaguars had a bye this week, but were without two starters for the second game in a row.
Bradly was suspended from all team activities for the past two weeks and his next suspension is scheduled for Nov. 18.
Bradys suspension was the latest in a series of incidents over the past few months involving issues with the Jaguars organization.
The Jaguars had no comment on the decision, and the NFL did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
